Yes I use the ‘freemium’ marketing method like many others to deliver great value for FREE and a small percentage of people decide to learn more about my premium paid services. During your session I spend just 5 minutes explaining other services - the rest is focused entirely on you, giving you information and tips you can apply to your life immediately.
I think I will just be overwhelmed - will this be worth my time?
This is the very reason I created this strategy session - there is so much information overload when it comes to mid-life women's health that most of us are overwhelmed - my aim is the opposite - to give you clarity so you can see the best way forward for you.
Who is Karen Finlayson?
I am a certified coach with over 20 years of experience in personal training, movement coaching, pilates, nutrition, and health. My interest in women's health and wellbeing has been a lifelong pursuit. I am based in Grey Lynn, Auckland, New Zealand and work mostly with women in New Zealand and Australia but I do have a few clients from the states and the uk too! I’m 51 years old, am navigating perimenopause, a marriage separation and had to close my Health & Fitness Studio in Auckland due to covid - so yeah midlife has been a doozy! As it is for many of us! I get it, I'm living it and I have helped hundreds of women navigate through this time of life too.
Is this just another fad diet, bootcamp, quick fix thing?
First up this is your strategy session so what we discuss will be specific to YOUR needs and any solutions I offer will be appropriate for you as an individual.
I am a women's health and movement coach and I help individual women to thrive the best way for them - that is specific to each person. I do not believe in quick fixes, fad diets or magic pills - I believe in tailored solutions for individual people and my services and programs reflect this.

Absolutely not - I do not sell products. I am a health coach and offer coaching services only. This session is designed to help you regardless of if you plan to purchase anything from me. It is 100% free, there is no obligation to sign up or buy anything.

#1 - Women over 40 with no menopause symptoms who are keen to know the best way forward into mid-life.

Karen Finlayson
Hi, I'm Karen Finlayson, a certified coach with over 20 years of experience in personal training, movement coaching, pilates, nutrition, and health. My interest in women's health and wellbeing has been a lifelong pursuit, but it became even more personal when I faced significant challenges in my early 40s. I gained serious weight and experienced health and mobility issues, which drove me to educate myself more.

I wanted to understand why weight gain had become so much harder to control and why maintaining my health had become more difficult. Through my research and personal experience, I realized that hormonal changes during perimenopause were a big factor, along with other lifestyle factors and habits that no longer served me. This led me to develop a unique

nutrition and exercise approach that transformed my own health and wellness and has helped hundreds of other women as well.​
Today, I'm passionate about supporting women to achieve their vision of a healthful, joy filled life however that looks for them. My approach is designed to help women to claim their own path to a fearless and fabulous life!
